Why We Like It

The first interior space I want to review is accessed from a door located to port on the aft deck. This leads down to the commercial grade galley which is located back aft. Complete list of galley equipment is outlined in the options list. Forward of that you have one of 4 guest cabin en-suites. Both spaces have a massive amount of natural light provided by multiple large vertical glass windows that you can see when looking at the hull. Stepping into the main salon from the aft deck you enter through sliding glass doors that nicely tuck away when not in use combining both exterior & interior spaces into one. The salon is massive and has 360 degree views with the forward area offering a glass skylight that stretches from port to starboard. To starboard you have a dining area that seats up to 10 and opposite to port you have an --shaped settee with 2 Cantori chairs. Forward of these spaces you have stairs that lead down to the guest areas, but forward is what I love and call the atrium space. You have a center bar with pop-up tv and then low lying storage great for entertaining with dual wine refrigerators, sink in the island and centerline a hatch that swings open allowing the fun to flow outside to the bow area which has the largest lounge area onboard and my guess a favorite area for a large party or group of guests. To starboard you have the main helm station onboard. Stepping down to starboard you have a guest cabin towards the bow and back aft the largest cabin onboard, the master suite complete with a separate bathroom with wardrobe highlighted by white and natural colored stones & leathers. True luxury. On the opposite side to port you step down into the VIP cabin which is also an ensuite. All guest cabins feature best in class glass windows assuring plenty of nature light which combined with high ceilings give you the feeling of being on a much larger yacht. Shore power converters are also hidden in sound proof lockers with designated air conditioning units to keep the heat levels low. When approaching ARIA from the dock the first feature that you notice is her overwhelming presence in the marina which is due to her high freeboard and massive beam & bridge clearance over 35ft you. Remember, this is an 80ft yacht that has a beam almost exactly half her length overall giving her a much more substantial volume when compared to an 80ft mono-hull. Another stunning feature is her metallic bronze hull paint job that accents the white superstructure that has black accents. In the hull you have large vertical windows at different intervals that flood the lower accommodations in the hull. Looking at her from back after you have access to board either to port or starboard by stepping on board her swim platform. Center line you have a large hydraulic platform which is where you would carry your tender which raises & lowers to float the tender free. When the tender is off this can be lowered and level with the fixed port & starboard transoms thus making one large full beam swim platform great for water access. Stepping up to the main deck you have stairs to port & starboard. Hidden hatches open on both sets giving access to additional storage and machine spaces, engine rooms. To starboard you also have a hydraulic passerelle. Once on the aft deck you have a centerline table that comfortably seats up to 10 guests which is surrounded by built in bench seating and sunpads. Below these sunpads you have a large hydraulic hatch that lifts up to reveal storage of your full size jet ski - a very innovative system. To port you have more seating with flush mounted waterproof exterior television, and stepping through a door you have direct access down to the galley & 4th guest cabin. The galley location is ideal for entertaining as it allows easy service to both the main & upper decks which I feel is where you will do the majority of your meals. To starboard you have stairs that lead up to the sundeck and below that a large storage locker that houses a dive compressor. Full walk arounds continue towards the bow on both port & starboard sides. If we continue to the bow you notice how large these walk arounds are (almost 5 feet wide) and the height off the waterline is about 15+ feet so great vantage point when at anchor or in a marina. The bow is one of the most impressive & outstanding areas onboard with a full beam lounge area with direct access to the interior through a center line hydraulic hatch. You have a sunken lounge & sitting areas to port & starboard accented with pop-up lighting giving great ambiance when at night. Forward of that you have sunpads that can angle up allowing guests great comfort when cruising. The forepeak areas to port & starboard both have crew accommodations for 2 with full ensuite luxuries. Forward and aft facing Raymarine marine grade CCTV cameras monitor the decks and can be viewed on the flat screen monitors at all 3 helm stations. Heading up to the sundeck via the floating teak staircase back after you enter a space that has it all: full hard top with glass ceiling, full bar, centerline jacuzzi with waterfall from the hard top highlighted with back-lit stone, and surrounded by sunpads, helm stations to both port & starboard, multiple dining/sitting areas. This space is where the 80 Sunreef Power shines taking advantage of her 40ft beam. No mono-hull comes close to offering anything close to this volume. You have a true 360 degree view and all the amenities of a true mega-yacht. Very impressive. The fabrics found throughout the interior decor of ARIA and her exterior deck spaces are natural stones & fabrics that focus on grays, blacks, browns and whites. The combination presents a relaxing vibe throughout. When you combine the massive amount of natural lights from the windows, skylights and portholes in the hull you get a Zen like atmosphere. Her salon features a beige Sea Breeze oak flooring, countertops in polished Alabastri Madreperla, Tables with Heban Ammara, Curtains with. Jasmone Bronze/Black Satin with Plisse blinds. Wall & ceiling panels are a combination of Tapioca & Diamante Snow. The salon chairs have a Cinera Patina with piping in Velvet Onyx and Yves Zand. The galley also features the beige Sea Breeze oak flooring with countertops and walls in polished Magnum Calacatta stone, ceilings and walls are Silvertex Macadamia with Rollo blinds. For the master & guest staterooms the theme continues yet different fabrics highlight the headboards & different accent walls such as Laser Metallic Palladium. The bathrooms have white stone lining the walls of the showers complimented with satin finished stone flooring & wardrobe doors in Avalanche. A modern yet neutral flow through the interior. The exterior sofas and sunpads are also a similar combination of colors with Diamante Tapioca & Silvertex Macadamia while her chairs feature fabrics in Perpetual Tiramisu and Lipari Ebone. All of these blend together and highlight ARIA's metallic bronze hull and white superstructure. A style that would feel at home in both the finest marinas in the world or at a remote anchorage in the south Pacific. That is the beauty of her style - sophisticated yet inviting.
